With rising inflation and rapid interest rate, the Venture Capital market is taking a slow approach as the funds are investing in the more mainstream ideas. The market is trying to rebound from the low of April 2022. VC funds are doubling down on promising startups and looking for a profitability path.

June 2022 is another exciting month for mobility startups as both the number of deals and the median deal size increased. VC and Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) invested money in:

According to the Mobility Innovators funding tracker, 42 startups raised $2.10 billion in a just month. The smallest funding was $0.15 million (seed) by Indeanta and the largest round of $536 million by Rimac Group 🚙.

There is a shift from seed/pre-seed rounds to growth stage / later rounds. Out of 42 deals, only 26% of deals are in the pre-seed / seed stage. There is a big jump in the Series A and later deals. VC firms are doubling down more on existing deals, which is in line with current market trends.
